Newlands Primary School is a state contributing school which welcomes enrolments from new entrants to Year 6 children.  

We operate an enrolment scheme, which means that some parts of Newlands are not in zone for our school.  All the information about our enrolment scheme, our school zone, and procedures for out of zone enrolments are outlined below.

You are warmly invited to visit the school to discuss enrolling your child and to see what we can offer your family.  Please email or phone for an appointment at any time.

We have enrolment packs available from the school office for pick up, or we can email information to you.  The enrolment form is available to download below.

STATIONERY

Stationery requirements for 2022 can be found under the Parent Information section.

ABSENCES

Email admin@newlandsprimary.school.nz, text 027 261 6901, or phone 04 461 6900, preferably before 9:00am and advise us of your child’s name, room number, and the reason for the absence.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Newlands Primary School requires that its students wear a school uniform. We believe the uniform gives our students a sense of pride. More details can be found under the Parent Information section.

HEALTH

If your child needs to take any sort of medication at school, it will be administered at the school office. More details can be found under the Parent Information section.

FEES/DONATIONS

The School donation is a voluntary payment and is used for various enrichment programmes or projects that fall outside our Ministry funding. We are always very grateful for any donations received. More details can be found under the Parent Information section.
